How we measure the market.

Coverage

We continuously monitor 41,380 UK employers across the FTSE 350, high-growth private companies, and the public sector. The dataset covers 1.28m live vacancies and 18,400 monthly compensation movements.

Normalisation

Job titles are mapped to a proprietary 380-role taxonomy. Salaries are normalised to a 12-month basis, deflated for benefits, and weighted by seniority. Skills are extracted from job descriptions using a fine-tuned classifier with quarterly human review.

Indices

The Hiring Confidence Index, AI Disruption Score, and Skills Shortage Index are calibrated quarterly against a panel of 11,400 senior operators. Methodology revisions are published openly.

What we do not do

We do not place candidates, we do not sell leads, and we do not expose individual-level data. Intelligence is the product — recruitment is the source.
